Focus of research
My research centres around the influece of risk factors in late life on incident dementia risk and healthy longevity, with a focus on practical implementation for dementia prediction, diagnosis and prevention.
My two main research lines are 1.) how and why dementia risk factors change from mid to late life and 2.) how treatment of high blood pressure in old age can be optimised for dementia prevention and healthy longevity on a primary care/population level.
Furthermore I have a strong interest in optimizing and developing new research methods for these purposes.
