Michiel Coppens, Jonathan Coutinho and Kakkhee Yeung are selected to join this year's leadership program of the Dutch CardioVascular Alliance (DCVA). The DCVA talent program creates a network of talented people who are seen as future leaders in the cardiovascular field.

Out of 46 applicants 15 talents with different expertises were selected by reviewers and the selection committee to join the 2-year leadership program. In this program, the talents develop new (management) skills and leadership competencies. They will work on five challenging and complex topics the DCVA partners encounter; ‘Responsible, valuable cardiovascular science and innovation’, ‘Using data from wearables for patient care’, ‘Hartenbank: donor recruitment and donor retention’, ‘Cardiac rehabilitation’ and ‘Tailor-made regulations for research’.

More information can be found on the DCVA website: DCVA Leadership Participants 2021.
