General

Neurodegeneration Perspectives" is a new series in which we invite two speakers to discuss different perspectives on a shared topic that matters for neurodegeneration research.

The aim is to spark discussion and reflection: where is your own research ultimately leading, and could viewing it from a different perspective change the way how you approach it?

We kick off the series with "The Valorization Paradox".

Andrea Soto-Padilla and Betty Tijms will introduce two perspectives on valorization and scientific discovery, followed by an open discussion:  What is valorization, when does it strengthen scientific innovation, and when might it constrain it? And what does this mean for your own research? We can continue the discussion during the drinks.
