Siyu Zhou went on a work visit to the Bristol Population Health Science Institute in England, from June 12 to September 11, 2026.
"Thanks to the APH work visit grant, I had the opportunity to spend three rewarding months with all inspiring and welcoming colleagues from the MRC and IEU departments at the Bristol Population Health Science Institute, England. I learned a lot about causal inference, cohort studies, advanced longitudinal statistical analysis and cohort management through daily work and seminars. The visit also led to a promising manuscript and more exciting results I will explore further and collaboration opportunities in the future! This was a valuable final research experience in my PhD trajectory."
