Save the date for a half-day symposium (in person and online) exploring how laboratory discoveries can be translated into effective, acceptable, and accessible vaccines across the globe

The event – organised by AIGHD, AI&I and APH Global Health – intends to examine:

  • scientific and methodological advances in vaccine development,
  • the role of the EU and global regulatory frameworks in enabling access,
  • real-world data on safety and effectiveness, and
  • the practical challenges of integrating new vaccines into routine care and national programmes, including issues such as vaccine hesitancy and health-system capacity.

The programme will feature short talks covering key stages of the vaccine continuum, followed by a panel discussion focused on opportunities for collaboration and an upcoming vaccine-related funding call. The morning will conclude with a networking lunch to facilitate new partnerships across disciplines and sectors.
