Focus of research

I am a Public Health Specialist with over 15 years’ experience in programming infectious diseases including tuberculosis and HIV. 

My current job function spans over 10 years of technical support to the Uganda Ministry of Health national TB and leprosy program through various above site support mechanisms implemented by USAID. In my current position as Senior TB case Finding Advisor, I have supported the development and rolled out implementation of the active case finding toolkit, while integrating continuous quality improvement approach in TB care, supported updating of national guidelines, SOPs and tools for TB management, and provided technical support in implementation of the TB and leprosy national strategic plan.

I am passionate about TB care and dedicate my efforts to serve the vulnerable and key affected populations to live a fulfilling life. I therefore aspire to enhance my knowledge and skills to strengthen systems for management of infectious diseases through research to solve health challenges and ensure universal access to health care.
