Focus of research

I am a Clinical Informatics Specialist with a foundation in General Practice. I bridge the gap between frontline patient care and data systems. My unique value is the ability to look at an Electronic Health Record not just as a database, but as a digital reflection of the clinical encounter. I specialize in optimizing primary care workflows to ensure that the nature of the data we capture is high-quality, clinically relevant, and structured for meaningful evaluation.

Coming from a background in General Practice, I understand that 'bad data' usually stems from 'bad workflows.' As an Informatics Specialist, I focus on the lifecycle of care data. I apply rigorous methodologies to evaluate how clinical processes impact data integrity. My goal is to design systems that reduce the administrative burden on GPs while providing the high-level analytics needed to improve population health outcomes.

I leverage my clinical experience in General Practice to solve complex data challenges. I don't just analyze healthcare datasets; I understand the clinical context behind every variable. I specialize in the methodologies used to evaluate health interventions—ensuring that the transition from a clinical process to a data point is seamless, standardized, and capable of driving evidence-based decision-making.
