Young Amsterdam Neuroscience (YAN) is a vibrant community of early career neuroscientists who are passionate about shaping and advancing the field of neuroscience in Amsterdam. Their focus is on advocacy, connection and integration within the broader Amsterdam Neuroscience community, while also equipping themselves with skills required for their professional growth.

YAN members meet several times a year to discuss topics crucial to building a research team, such as grant writing, mentoring, consortium building, research integrity, leadership development, and improving collaboration within research groups.
