Pictures of Wietske van der Zwaag and Martijn van den Heuvel

Dr. Wietske Van der Zwaag currently works at the Spinoza Centre for Neuroimaging, Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen and at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience. Wietske does research in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, especially functional MRI at ultra-high field. Her current project is "Visualising activation in the human cerebellum".

Prof. Martijn van den Heuvel (CNCR, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam) is a computational neuroscientist with a background in AI, network science and MRI data analysis. He studies the roadmap of connections in the brain -the connectome- in health and disease. With his work he aims to bridge disciplines such as psychology, mathematics, biology and medicine to unravel the topological network structure of the human and animal brain.
