When diagnosing dementia, hospitals often use brain scans, like PET scans to make certain proteins visible in the brain. During this Lunch & Learn these techniques will be demonstrated and it will be explained how physicians judge these scans. This way it will be demonstrated how imaging in the memory clinic can be used to get a diagnosis.
