Join the ONWAR introductory course for PhD students. During this course an introduction to current neuroscience in Amsterdam and Rotterdam is organized to give new PhD candidates an overview of the laboratories performing neuroscience research, their members and the subjects of study.
During this introduction, participants will familiarize themselves with the ONWAR associated neurosciences centres and research institutes, as well as meeting their peers. This will help new PhDs to find local collaborators for their projects and stimulates collaborations between research groups.
The course will be given in the form of lectures and practicals. During the course participants will visit the different ONWAR centres and institutes. Scientists who perform neuroscience research in Amsterdam and Rotterdam will discuss their work and demonstrate th techniques and facilities they employ.
