Lecture & speech On Friday, May 29, 2026, at 16:30, prof. dr. Dionne Kringos, appointed Professor of Health Systems and Services Research, focused on the sustainable improvement of health care systems, will formally accept the position of professor by delivering an inaugural lecture.

On June 9 and 10, another Writers' Retreat for early career researchers within APH Digital Health will take place. Organized by the junior council, this retreat will take place at 't Paviljoen in Rhenen, near Dierenpark Rhenen.

Every month (Mondays or Tuesdays) from 12:30 to 1:00 PM, an online lunch and learn meeting on inclusive research will be held, organized by the Amsterdam Public Health Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee (APH DEI)

Congress & symposium This year, APH Junified 2026, themed ‘Boost your AI skills’, will take place on Thursday, June 18 at Hotel Casa Amsterdam.

Congress & symposium The 3rd World Falls Congress will be held in Manchester, United Kingdom from the 24th to 26th of June 2026. This congress will benefit clinicians and healthcare professionals working with older people who have undergone a fall, or are at risk of falling.

Other The Valorisation Festival is an event where we demonstrate how knowledge from research is translated into applications with societal impact.

Congress & symposium This year, the APH Annual Meeting 2026, themed ‘Resilient Societies’, will take place on Tuesday, November 24 at Theater de Meervaart.
