Theme AI in AII

General

Whether you are excited by or scared of it: Artificial Intelligence is rapidly becoming part of life and will transform the way we do science. What are the opportunities and what are the risks? What can you already do, even if you are not a tech-geek? We will explore it all during our annual symposium!

Program Highlights:
  • Plenary talks: illustrating the use of AI in Immunology/Infectious Diseases research
  • Hands on session: "Beyond ChatGPT"
  • Special talk by the dean of the FNWI (UvA): how to ready the university for the AI revolution?
  • Parallel Sessions: Talks by PhD students and postdocs of both programs of AII
  • Poster Sessions: Presentations of PhD students and postdocs through interactive poster presentations
Submit your abstract

Calling on all PhD students and postdocs! Share your research by submitting an abstract. Six standout abstracts from each theme (Immunology and Infectious Diseases) will be chosen for presentations during the parallel sessions. Please note that presentations do not need to have a link with AI!

New: poster session

If not selected for an oral presentation, you will be scheduled to present a poster. Granted, making a poster is a bit of work. However, presenting a poster is also a great way to show people in the institute what you are working on and to foster interaction. Again, a link with AI is not required for this poster session.

The top poster and the best presentation in each session will win a 200 Euro prize, yours to spend however you like.
