General
Dear researchers and RDC residents,
The concrete foundation for the bronze statue at Van der Boechorstraat is ready to welcome The Fallen Professor and the coffee bar under the spiral staircase in the Binnenhof is now operational. The moment has arrived. After years of preparation, we are ready to begin at RDC ADORE.
You are warmly invited to the pre-opening on May 12th—a casual gathering especially for oncology and neuroscience researchers curious about our plans and the story behind RDC ADORE.
The RDC ADORE is a home for scientists who push boundaries. Nowhere else in the world you will find a place where oncology and neuroscience research are so systematically and extensively integrated. Want to learn how we are going to achieve this and who’s involved? Are you curious about our community and research facilities?
Please, come by!
You’ll be able to ask questions about Adore and see how you can join our efforts to accelerate impact for neurodegenerative disorders and cancer.
We’re looking forward to seeing you on May 12th. No registration is needed—just drop in for coffee and a treat, ask your questions, and/or meet fellow oncology and neuroscience ADORE researchers.
We hope to see you on May 12th!

What is Adore?
Adore is an ambitious initiative of Amsterdam UMC. At the AUMC/VU campus more than 2,000 researchers work together on groundbreaking research into cancer and brain diseases, such as Alzheimer’s disease and multiple sclerosis (MS). By joining forces and encouraging cross-pollination between these fields, we aim to achieve one main goal: to accelerate the development of affordable treatments for diseases that drastically impact the lives of patients and their loved ones. More information about Adore for researchers can be found here.
