Vici Grant for Matthijs Brouwer: Faster, more Accurate, and Affordable Tests for Diagnosing Brain InfectionsWe are proud to announce that three Amsterdam UMC researchers, including two from AI&I, have each been awarded a prestigious €1.5 million Vici grant from the Dutch Research Council (NWO). This funding will enable them to develop innovative research lines and expand their teams over the next five years. National INFECT-TT program invests 7 million in accelerated clinical product development for infectious diseasesIn May 2026, the national valorisation programme InFECT-TT, under the umbrella of the InFECT-NL, will officially launch, together with the Infectious Diseases Innovation Fund (IDIF).
