Towards Improved Management of Pregnancy in Women with SLEDr. Irene Bultink, principal investigator at Amsterdam UMC and member of the Amsterdam institute for Immunology and Infectious diseases was invited by the highest-ranked scientific journal in the field of rheumatology ‘Nature Reviews Rheumatology’ (impact factor 32.7) to write a comprehensive review article on fertility, pregnancy and lactation in women with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE).
Vici Grant for Matthijs Brouwer: Faster, more Accurate, and Affordable Tests for Diagnosing Brain InfectionsWe are proud to announce that three Amsterdam UMC researchers, including two from AI&I, have each been awarded a prestigious €1.5 million Vici grant from the Dutch Research Council (NWO). This funding will enable them to develop innovative research lines and expand their teams over the next five years.
