In the NWO Open Competition Domain Science - KLEIN researchers can apply for curiosity-driven, fundamental research.

Dr. Stephan Huveneers has received the KLEIN-grant for his project ‘Endothelial junctions: forces guiding the vasculature’. A second grant was awarded to dr. ir. Jan Van den Bossche for his project ‘The regulation and function of a newfound immunometabolite in macrophages’. Dr. ing. Sandra van Vliet together with dr. Seino Jongkees of the University Utrecht received a subsidy for their research project ‘Tuning immune cell biology with macrocyclic glycopeptides’.
