The Child and Youth Health care Academic Collaborative Center aims to improve and develop preventive care for youth. This is a collaboration of GGDs in Noord-Holland and Flevoland and the municipalities of these regions.
Objective
To improve the quality of preventive care for youth, especially youth health care. Developing youth health care and preventive care for youth.

Examples
of activities in the field of education and training
- Active contribution to the education of medical students, e.g. by means of familiarization days with youth doctors and youth nurses
- Supervision of research trainees, PhD students and research interns in the 1st and 2nd phases
of activities in the field of research
- Healthy Sleeping: stimulating healthy sleeping behavior among 6-9 year olds
- Children on their own Health
of activities in the area of care (innovation)
- Development of and (RCT) research into VoorZorg (results in PhD thesis, publications and infographics: reduces child abuse by half, domestic violence decreases, promotes health and lifestyle of mothers and children)
- Monitoring the effects of innovations in the mental health services
Established in 2006.
There is structural cooperation. A contract has been concluded with the partners.
