You are warmly invited to the Capita Selecta lecture on Virtual Reality in physiotherapeutic treatment
In this Capita Selecta lecture, an introduction to the research will be provided by Dr. Bart Staal. Subsequently, researchers Syl Slatman MSc and Beate Dejaco MSc will guide you through their presentations on the various factors that play a role in the application of VR and how VR can be optimally utilized in physiotherapeutic treatment. This lecture will inform you about the evidence for VR in various musculoskeletal complaints, and practical applications of VR for low back pain and shoulder complaints will also be demonstrated
