Amsterdam Reproduction and Development is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge in all aspects of human reproduction and development. We aim at improving health from preconception to adulthood of current and future generations through team science. From January 2023, Amsterdam Reproduction and Development (AR&D) will contribute a maximum of €1000 towards the costs of producing a video, film, knowledge clip or podcast.

Admission Requirements

The conditions for the contribution are as follows:

  • The researcher(s) involved is/are affiliated with AR&D, including affiliation(s) in Pure;
  • Amsterdam Reproduction and Development (no abbreviation) is mentioned in the video/film/knowledge clip/podcast;
  • The link between the information shared in the video/film/knowledge clip/podcast clip and AR&D must be clarified in the video/film/knowledge clip/podcast;
  • Amsterdam Reproduction and Development (no abbreviation) is mentioned in the credits of the video/film/knowledge clip/podcast;
  • The AR&D visual is shown in the video/film/knowledge clip. In the case of a podcast, the AR&D visual shoot be shown in the advertisement;
  • The video/film/knowledge clip/podcast is made available for placement on the AR&D website and can be shared via AR&D’s social media;
  • The application must be submitted and approved by the AR&D office before the video/film/knowledge clip/podcast is finally completed, as AR&D must be mentioned and the AR&D visual must be shown in the video/film/knowledge clip/podcast advertisement;
  • The declaration of contribution must be made within 3 months after the payment for the video/film/knowledge clip/podcast was done.

Application

The application must be accompanied by a cost breakdown for the amount requested.

The application form must be sent toARandD@amsterdamumc.nl.

Incomplete submissions and submissions that do not meet the requirements will not be taken into consideration.

Approval

The application will be assessed by the office of Amsterdam Reproduction and Development. You will receive a letter with the approval or rejection of the application. We aim to process the application within two weeks.

The video/film/knowledge clip/podcast will be shared with AR&D as soon as it is ready. After the first launch/premiere by the researchers, the video/film/knowledge clip/podcast will then be posted by AR&D.

Declaration of the actual costs must be done within 3 months after the payment for the video/film/knowledge clip/podcast was done. Proof of payment of the video/podcast editing and the AR&D letter stating your application has been approved have to be included in the declaration. You will receive the reimbursement instructions once your application has been approved.

Incomplete declarations and declarations submitted later than 3 months after the payment for the video/film/knowledge clip/podcast was done will not be taken into consideration.
