Amsterdam UMC Research Grant Support team provides support for Amsterdam UMC researchers on a large variety of national and international grant schemes and funds. The grant support offices provide consulting services in relation to funding opportunities, scouting services, proposal advice and development covering the entire application process to enhance the chance of success. Cancer Center Amsterdam also has a dedicated grant advisor to support CCA researchers in obtaining funding for their research.

CCA Grant Support

Within CCA, Wietske Pieters is available to:

  • Identify oncology-related funding opportunities for your research (national, European, international)
  • Create a funding timeline to plan your future applications
  • Review your project proposal (structure, readability, properly addressing the funding-program specific evaluation criteria)
  • Advise you on specific parts of the proposal (e.g. institute specific parts)
  • Connect you with IXA business developers or Amsterdam UMC research grant support
  • Provide career/funding advise to junior researchers

The Amsterdam UMC Research Grant Support (RGS) team offers tailor-made services to researchers in Amsterdam UMC. The grant advisors provide up-to-date knowledge and expertise to secure the acquisition of national and European research grants, fostering successful and excellent scientific research at Amsterdam UMC. Targeted grants support services cater to the specific needs of Amsterdam UMC applicants applying to EU funding programs, prestigious national consortium grants and the NWO Talent Program as well as other prestigious ‘talent’ grants.
