The 'Opleidingsfonds Klinische Epidemiologie' (OKE fund) reimburses 50% (up to €9,000) of the tuition fees for the master's program in Epidemiology organized by EpidM. For the curriculum, visit www.epidm.nl/masteropleiding.
The OKE fund supports young clinicians at Amsterdam UMC and Reade who, in addition to their training (to become a general practitioner, specialist, occupational physician, etc.), want to deepen their knowledge in scientific research and pursue training as an Epidemiologist. The fund was established by Maarten Boers, emeritus professor of Clinical Epidemiology. Throughout his career, Maarten worked to strengthen the clinical epidemiological expertise of the medical staff, and upon his retirement from Amsterdam UMC, he founded this fund.
