After a break in 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is with great pleasure that we invite you to the fifth annual retreat of Cancer Center Amsterdam! The retreat will take place on Thursday, July 7 (starting in the morning) and Friday, July 8 (ending around lunch time) 2022, at the Conference Center Leeuwenhorst in Noordwijkerhout. Sign up now!

In addition to the usual plenary sessions, the program will include special parallels sessions for PI’s and senior researchers, and PhD students, technicians etc. And of course there will be a great party! Detailed information about the program will follow soon.

So be sure to register on time and we will see you on July 7 and 8!

Publication, thesis and clinical impact awards

During the retreat, there will be a ceremony for the publication, thesis and clinical impact awards. More information about these awards can be found on our website. Deadline for application (for all awards): April 20th 2022.
Note: one of the most important conditions for applying is that you are registered with Cancer Center Amsterdam and this affiliation is reported in your publications.

Financial Subsidy for thesis publication

Cancer Center Amsterdam will contribute €250 towards the printing costs of theses for Cancer Center Amsterdam candidates. One of the requirements is the PhD candidate participated in at least one Cancer Center Amsterdam retreat.
