Research Support aims to contribute to a stimulating work environment for researchers at Amsterdam UMC. We offer support services in all stages of research - from initial ideas to implementation of results - and develop the related policies.
Amsterdam UMC is linked to eight thematic research institutes. As a postdoctoral researcher it is compulsory to be affiliated to 1 or 2 research institutes. Within each institute you can chose to be part of 1 or 2 research programs. This helps you to benefit from the knowledge, network and services of the research institutes. Research institutes offer grants you can apply for and organize events, symposia, and seminars you can attend to enrich your knowledge and network. This research roadmap walks you through the different steps of conducting research. The roadmap contains structured information on the policies, resources and support you can get when setting up, carrying out and completing scientific research (including clinical trials) to ensure you can keep your work on track.
