This program contains basic and translational research on cancer biology and immunology and is aimed at developing novel insights into the (patho)physiology of cancer and the immune system and at the development of novel therapies.  

Themes

This program is subdivided into the following three research themes

Cancer Biology This theme comprises basic and translational molecular research to better understand the origin and underlying mechanisms of malignancy.
Cancer Immunology This theme studies the immunological processes involved in cancer development and therapy.


Target & Therapy Discovery This theme is about identification of novel targets and drugs to translate into clinical trials and applications.
